Saskatchewan’s licensed outfitters make an annual net contribution to provincial GDP of $129m. The industry has a hand in over 5,000 jobs, and makes a significant contribution to Saskatchewan’s communities – our industry spends locally!

The 2018 Economic Impact Study undertaken by SCPO and completed by Praxis provides the details on the economic impact and overall investment by the industry. SCPO is a member of the Canadian Federation of Outfitter Associations (CFOA), and participated in the national economic impact project. This study – completed by Southwick – also highlights the significant impact of the industry at provincial and national levels.
